*The amount of skill points is different, depending on the difficulty: on Easiest, the amount of points is multiplied by 1.5, and on Hardest, the points are halved. No other difficulties are affected.

The total XP needed to reach level L is precisely calculated as follows:

XP = floor( 40 * (1.5^(L-1) - 1) )

So reaching higher levels is extremely time consuming.[1]

In addition to increasing skills, stats can be boosted temporarily by eating meals in the Cafeteria, drinking potions, or by equipping certain items.
