The first island to the east of Starting Island and west of Cultivator Island. (Traveling east from here in the demo simply warps the player to the opposite side.) This island is on the planet Unoiks 428c.
Main Area[]
Ice Berry bushes and Purple Trees can be found on the island which will slap you with their tentacle branches if you get too close. Fire Boars and nocturnal plant creatures roam on the surface. There are also spirits that can only be seen with Spirit Goggles (Fire Spirit underground near the Wyrm Hive, Water Spirit in the Forbidden Forest during the day and Plant Spirit during the night), and a pillar with the Ancient Axe recipe.
If you play on Armor Games (or use the mod) the MagiGame minigame will be accessible directly below the cave of the Old One. Beating the minigame rewards you with a Golden Sword and Golden Shield.

Dragon Lair[]
There is a Dragon Lair similar to the Starting Island where dragons can be raised after activation by the Alchemist, who also builds an adjacent a wyrm pen.
The Old One's Chamber[]
Under the Forge is a bedrock chamber in which a mysterious alien resides. It will do nothing and cannot be harmed until the Alchemist can be summoned to it (after the quest for the Magic Spikes), after which a boss fight will begin.

The Eastern Island is twice the depth of any other and is comprised of four distinct layers. The first three are analogous to Dirt, Basalt and Obsidian; the fourth is bedrock which can be mined with an exotic drill, obtained late in the game.

Dungeons[]
There are three dungeons on the main area of Eastern Island. There are two secret doors in random locations deep in the bedrock only visible with spirit-sight.
- Colosseum - Deep underground, requires spirit-sight
- Wyrm Hive - Follow the lone Wyrm
- Death's Door - Bottom depth, requires spirit-sight
Floating Island[]
Above the three organic structures is a floating snow island which can only be reached by flying up with Dragon Armor (or anything with high enough flight height) or going through the Wyrm Tunnels to the island. There is a Yeti and an Ice Spirit on the island.

The mountaintop is snow, so cannot be planted on.

Structures[]
Time Manipulator[]
On the floating island you can find an Ice Spirit and a Time Manipulator. An Ice Gem is required to activate the Time Manipulator, which, when fueled with Focus Gems, allows you to:
- Uncraft items to regain the materials used in their creation. This can also be used to find out the enchanting recipes for already-enchanted items you find.
- Reset your skill points, allowing you to allocate them again. Requires 100 fuel.
- Set the time, allowing you to skip ahead to or skip night without needing to wait for the game’s day/night cycle to reach the appropriate time on its own.
Dungeons[]
The Ice Cave[]
You need Spirit Goggles or a Shadow Cat to see the entrance to this dungeon. Inside are some Yetis and Icers, and a sliding puzzle leading to a pillar with the recipe for the Ice Shield. If you already have mining strength of 7 you can bypass the puzzle by mining the ice walls.
