Divider island is on Unoiks 428c, located east of Cultivator Island, and west of the whirlpool and Ice Island
Similarly to The Heights, it consists of two parts separated by a tall peak. The surface features and underground ores of the east half are similar to those of Sunset Haven. The west half is similar to Eastern Island. Additionally, the two sides of the island have different weather patterns.
Like the Starting Island and Sunset Haven, Divider Island has seagulls hovering and standing on shore. Seagulls and robins are the non-interactable creatures of the game. Unlike either of those two islands, Divider Island has gulls on both shores.
The soundtrack for the island is a remixed version of the track "The Passage Between", one of the pieces from the official soundtrack that can be found at multiple sites online. Identical music plays when the player visits The Heights. "The Passage Between" uses a slower version of the melody from "Technically", the theme music of the Fighter Escort. At The Heights, this musical choice makes sense as a hint to the heavily fragmented Fighter Escort found at the island's high elevations. However, Divider Island has no spaceship wreckage. What it does have is the Advanced Lab, as well as being a highly unusual location in itself. This may explain the choice of background music.
The island is essentially a gigantic Blackstone mountain mostly hidden underground, flanked by two small areas of soil and ore-rich stone with a tunnel system of volcanic rock cutting horizontally through the middle. Many secrets, from ancient to recent, can be found in every area of this island.
As the name implies, this island divides between Magic and Science path, and can even be a point for the Hybrid path.
West Side[]
Similar to the magic islands to the west, West Divider Island has distinctive yellow wisps of fog in the near background contrasting with low dark clouds behind. A forest of 3 Purple Trees and a varying number of Ice Bushes grows out of the soil. However, in the far background snow-capped peaks are present instead of the jagged red rock which forms the backdrop of Eastern Island and Cultivator Island. The red Magic Dirt stretches inland from the beach until it stops at a flat Blackstone area, which then rises in steps up to the mountaintop.
On the shore, a pale purple-pink magical hut stands just beyond the beach. This is the home of the Sea Witch on the island, and where you will first meet her. Like its counterpart in the Fish Village (the Sea Witch’s other home), the hut glows in the dark. One of the island’s two standing seagulls is in front of the hut. You will have to complete a quest before you can sleep here.
On the surface next to the Sea Witch’s land hut is a spirit pillar with the Shadow Cape recipe, and underground (in the blue stone layer, below the lava) is a pillar with the Scale Mail recipe surrounded by spirit guide blocks.

NPCs[]
The Sea Witch is on this side of Divider Island. She will only come out at night. After you complete the quest to give her a Revitalizing Potion, she can craft magical equipment for you than can’t be obtained anywhere else.
Once you evolve a Dragonship for the quest from the Elder Dragon, the Sea Witch will flee to the Fish Village of Cultivator Island. If you do this before giving her a Revitalizing Potion, once you give her the potion you can talk to her exactly once to have her craft a Shadow Cape, Witch Hat, or Robes for you. After that, once you talk to her again she will leave the island. If you make the potion first, she will stay on Divider Island for longer and you can even have her craft a Magic Wand and Flying Broom.
Structures[]
The Sea Witch's hut is on this side, on the western shore.
You can save your game here after completing a quest to give the Sea Witch a Revitalizing Potion, but you will automatically sleep until night.

The Mountain[]
The mountain is mostly made of blackstone, which is not mineable. However, underneath the mountain is a maze of obsidian (mine 5), which can be mined with the laser drill or queen drill, allowing access to the other side of the island. There is also a monolith structure on the top, exactly like those found on The Depths.
The mountain is 28 tiles tall; an Adult Dragon, Helium Pack, Anti-Grav Pack, or Jet with the Base Engine cannot fly over it. The mountain also extends down to the base of the island, with the mineable stone and soil of either side bordered by slopes of blackstone; the only way to dig straight through the island is through the obsidian maze mentioned previously. Once a strong enough drill or higher-flying equipment or vehicle is obtained, it becomes possible to cross the island instead of going the long way around via the whirlpool.
[]
NPCs[]
Tindle resides at the top of the mountain, near the monolith.
You can reach him with an Elder Dragon, a jet with an upgraded engine, or other vehicle or equipment with a flight height of 30 or higher. However, make sure you have room to dismount your vehicle and be able to talk to him to receive the quest to reactivate the monolith. After the quest is completed, he will trade with you; see the trading page on this wiki. Alternatively, you can build up the side of the mountain with steel ladders to reach each step and to the peak; however you will need a minimum of 28 ladders for each side.
Mining[]
The maze between the left and right areas is Obsidian in Blackstone and is 64x64

Dungeons[]
There are two dungeons in the maze, the first is a wyrm mouth to the Kraken Cave, and deep underground is an area of bedrock hiding a secret door to the Megolemech factory, containing the Megolemech boss.
East Side[]
The east side is similar to the Forest area of Sunset Haven.
Like the west side, East Divider Island consists of a flat area of Blackstone at the base of the mountain transitioning into an area of fertile, forested ground and the existing structures being situated on the coast. The Warehouse is on the shore, with the Advanced Lab right next to it. 2-3 Conifers grow between the mountain and the Advanced Lab, with 1-2 Bushes and 1-2 Red Bushes among the trees. Scattered across the ground and on the pier are several Hi-Tech Parts that can be collected at any point for later use.
Below the layer of gray Western Dirt, Western Stone (mine hardness 4) with lava continues downward to the very base of the island.
Like both sides of The Heights, East Divider Island has a permanent lenticular cloud cover formed by the mountain. When you cross over the mountain to the west side, the clouds disappear. The same is true in reverse, with the clouds of West Divider Island fading as you move east.

Structures[]
There's an Advanced Laboratory and a Warehouse situated on the east side of the island. The Advanced Lab needs power to operate. Powerlines only work if a Power Plant is to the right of structures you want to connect, so use cables or put a Generator in front of or right next to the Advanced Lab in order to power it.
When you examine the Advanced Lab, if you have the Comm Device, The Mechanic will call you and give you the blueprint for it. A second copy of the blueprint is within the Warehouse, but if you take that before inspecting the Advanced Lab the Mechanic will not scan the building.
After defeating the Pirates, the structures become accessible, and the Warehouse contains a large amount of items. You can use the Warehouse as storage for the island instead of building a Storehouse; the materials within can be shipped by the Trader if you accepted the “Build Market” quest and befriended her.
If you want the Sea Witch to craft items for you before you scare her off (by evolving a dragon ship), you can store ingredients such as Shadow Fur and Spirit Gems in the Warehouse so she can access them. Once you have activated the Monolith and begin trading with Tindle, you can continue storing magic ingredients here to trade with him.
Note: There are only two Power Core Parts in the Warehouse. Two other Power Core Parts in the Earth underground ruins (only accessible with a tool of mine 7 or higher) complete the set so that a Power Core can be crafted.

Enemies[]
The only enemies on the east half are the two Pirate Ships guarding the island and the golems that can be found when mining stone.
Mining[]
The ground on this side is the same as Sunset Haven. Coal and sulfur are common in the dirt, with sulfur and iron plentiful in the stone. Gold and quartz are rare here; if you use the Advanced Lab here to craft materials, you will have to bring gold and quartz from elsewhere for Gold Bars and Silicon (such as mining through the maze and on the other side of the island for quartz).
